I'm new to the hobby, but I'd consider myself a taper, I suppose. I taped Tool in Albany,NY and Reading,PA this past year and, just a couple of days ago, the main acts at Ozzfest in Mansfield,MA.

I taped Tool in Columbus, Ohio, on 2006.09.21. It's the second audio source for that show and isn't the greatest quality (I've heard the first source is really good, but I haven't got a copy yet). I haven't released it yet because I'm lazy and haven't bothered to split it into tracks. When I do, it will be seeded at http://www.metpage.org probably.

I also intend to buy a really good audio recorder and bootleg the next Metallica show I go to, hopefully next year. :D

hey man I'm a taper to. I taped TONS of bands from 2000-2002 in pittsburgh, pa. then the club shut down. i knew the promoter. so all my masters from that club are fantastic. amongst others, i filmed hatebreed 2x, etown concrete 2x, snapcase 2x, h20, glassjaw, nothingface, sworn enemy, a aperfect circle, downset, factory 81, spineshank, nonpoint, candiria, cryptopsy, origin, mushroomhead, and more. i was really into hardcore so i filmed a lot of hardcore bands

past two summers i've gotten back into it and taped system of a down (ozzfest 2006), afi, nofx, and less than jake (warped 2006), and trivium, hellyeah, atreyu, korn, evanescene, and flyleaf at family values tour

what footage do you have from ozzfest? is it steady or handheld and kind of shaky? either way I am very interested.

My bootleg list is at:
http://digitallive.tekcities.com

note the Family Values 8/4/07 masters are not up there yet. I don't have my masters specified, but if it came from pittsburgh, i probaly filmed it.

I do more taping than I do trading nowadays, averaging about 4-6 gigs a month, sometimes a bit more, sometimes a bit less. And I only do audio. My rig currently is somewhat modest, MM-MCSM-4 cardioids with MM-EBM-1 batterybox with 7-position rolloff and Edirol R-09 as the actual recorder. I have Church Audio STC-11 cards and ST-9100 preamp ordered about a month ago, but I'm yet to receive those.

By the end of the year I'm taping the following:
August 29th - Chris Cornell (Icehall)
August 31st - Amorphis (Tavastia)
September 1st - Amorphis (Tavastia)
September 7th - Los Bastardos Finlandeses (Länkkäri)
September 9th - Antsu Haahtela Trio (Bistro Piraatti) - maybe
September 26th - Dream Theater & Symphony X (Icehall)
October 6th - Antsu Haahtela Solo (Mendocino) - maybe
October 11th - Los Bastardos Finlandeses (On The Rocks)
October 20th - Havana Black (Länkkäri)
October 29th - Soilwork, Dark Tranquillity, Caliban & Sonic Syndicate - maybe
November 14th - Havana Black (Tavastia)
December 1st - Amorphis, Swallow The Sun & Insomnium (Nosturi)
December 11th - Helloween, Gamma Ray & Axxis (Kaapelitehdas) - maybe
December 14th - Machine Head, Trivium, Arch Enemy, Dragonforce (Icehall) - maybe
December 20th - Havana Black (On The Rocks)

well since mostly they do DVD covers here i just figured you videotaped. but video taping is a helluva lot harder than audio taping. i'd still be interesting in your shows if the sound is good.

i filmed ozzy, lamb of god, behemoth, hatebreed, devildriver, lordi, and static-x at ozzfest on 8/24/07 burgettstown, pa

i'm gonna release the ozzy and and most the others on MD but I'm gonna hold the lamb of god for the rare occasion someone else has something I really really want to trade for, like clutch or lamb of god I don't have, which to my knowledge their isn't any of thats circulated in the least

I do mostly audio taping in the Cleveland and surrounding area's. I work with a video guy on occassion, and when I do we do two or three cam mixes. My audio rig is:

Superlux C8K mics > Edroil UA5 > ihp120

I mix with Wave Labs

I'm trying to get the video guy to go to Columbus with me to do Nebula in October....we'll see

I Tried to Film Rob Zombie last year at Houston, TX, (BTW, If anybody has this, Let's trade!) I only managed to get a few clips. The event staff were taking away cameras, seeing how I just bought my JVC Digital Media Camera GZ-MC100, I didn't want to lose it, so I went and moshed. But, Korn is coming to my nearby city October 19 with Hellyeah and Five Finger Death Punch, I might go and Film them. But I really don't like Korn that much and tickets are $40 <_<
