Why shouldn't AC/DC fit?
I think, nearly every single rock/metal-band is (at least a tiny little bit) influenced by AC/DC - so they fit to everything .

no doubt here, kinda dont think acdc will fit on that night along with other thrashers

tho, acdc was headliner in 91 monsters of rock (with metallica and pantera as some of the support acts)

Because I like more U.D.O. songs than Accept, but that's not to say I don't like Accept.

Well, sorry for reviving some old stuff.
But there are a lot of different opinions according to bands fitting to each other.
We had a great festival not that far away from my hometown. They announced one day as a classic metal day.
We got some strange mix of Exodus, Sepultura, Lordi (!?) and Saxon...
Not really that AC/DC - Pantera stuff, but Sepplultra and Saxon are supposed to fit together?
Next day was "extreme metal": Yeah, you got some Black/Death Metal bands (like Vader, Gorgoroth and stuff - that's why I didn't go there, they start to annoy me after some few minutes), but also Solstafir, Primordial, some Rammstein-rip-off and mighty Venom. I noticed too late that you had to pay only 25€ (about 33$), if you just came for Venom... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRGHHH! Well, but shit happens...
So this "x fits to y" stuff always depends on your own opinion.
